Nha Trang is Vietnam’s most famous seaside resort-town. It's more lively and urban in character than other beach destinations throughout the country. It's also the scuba diving center of Vietnam.
I was born in Vung Tau but lived in Nha Trang for 19 years. Every single street, shop, and dish here has always been a part of mine. I can't tell you how much I love the city, it's just indescribable feelings.
If you want to know how amazing it is, just come and spend a couple of days to unwind and recharge yourself. It would be the most memorable trip ever.
Below is my trip to Nha Trang during the Tet Holiday 2017.
We woke up about 9AM and wanted to check out the tallest rooftop bar in Nha Trang. It's called Havana Skylight.
Ticket: $2/each daytime
$6/each at night including a drink
I think it looks better at night but we were afraid of shooting in the crowd so that's why we chose to be there in the daytime. I wanted to have a whole look of the city looking down. And the view was amazing.
Btw, I didn't forget to promote my hometown a little bit with the banner.
After that we had local food called " Nem Nướng " at $2/set for lunch
Tips: Using Rice Paper Cake ( Bánh Tráng) to wrap vegetables, meat, and pickles then eat with the mixture of special local sauce and fish sauce.
Finish with the first place and lunch, we continued to visit the oldest Temple called Ponagar.
Po Nagar is a Cham temple tower founded sometime before 781 and located in the medieval principality of Kauthara, near modern Nha Trang in Vietnam. It is dedicated to Yan Po Nagar, the goddess of the country, who came to be identified with the Hindugoddesses Bhagavati and Mahishasuramardini, and who in Vietnamese is called Thiên Y Thánh Mâu.
Ticket: $1/each ( 8AM- 6PM)
The Cham people is good at making pottery, weaving and dancing.
Ticket: $4/each for swimming in hot mineral pool
$9/each for mud bath + hot mineral pool ( public bath for 8 people)
For more privacy and VIP services you need to pay up to $100- $200
And time for dinner with Chicken Rice at $2/set
That's all for the first day.
Ticket: $30/ adult
$25/ child ( <1.4m)
Free for children < 1m
We took some photos in 3D room.
and visited the Aquarium.
We went to Long Son Pagoda ( Chùa Long Sơn- Chùa Phật Trắng) which is considered as the most famous pagoda in Nha Trang.
Note: _No Ticket
_The place is not opened for foreigners in some special cases.
After that, we had lunch in a vegetarian restaurant in front of the pagoda, then moved in to the center and went shopping in the night market. It's quite close to the Tet Holiday so every where in the city was selling ornaments/ trees/ flowers for decorating houses before the Lunar New Year.
Finally, we had dinner and finished the trip in Nha Trang.
